Many people interact with websites on a daily basis.

Websites are created by individuals, organisations, companies, governments or simply anyone who would like to display some type of information or conduct business.

 

What is a Website?

A website is a collection of related web pages that are linked with
hyperlinks, and resides in a web server.

Web pages are written in HTML (HyperText Markup Language). 

A web page can contain many types of files such as text, graphic images and multimedia effects such as sound files, video and/or animation files. Websites are accessible to users via the World Wide Web.

How To Create a WebPage using Microsoft Word.

Look at the following video showing how to create a web page using Microsoft Office Word.

Now follow the instrucstions below to complete your first assignment.

INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Download your brochure from last term's assignment ( click on your relevant class to access your brochure 3m1, 3m2, 3m3).
(2 marks)

2. Using the video above, use the brochure you downloaded to create a web page. (5 marks)

3. Copy the link of the brochure and upload to the padlet for your relevant class - 3m1, 3m2, 3m3. ( 5 marks)
