Many people interact with websites on a daily basis.
Websites are created by individuals, organisations, companies, governments or simply anyone who would like to display some type of information or conduct business.
What is a Website?
A website is a collection of related web pages that are linked with
hyperlinks, and resides in a web server.
Web pages are written in HTML (HyperText Markup Language).
A web page can contain many types of files such as text, graphic images and multimedia effects such as sound files, video and/or animation files. Websites are accessible to users via the World Wide Web.
