What is a Digital Footprint?
An individual’s digital footprint is the trail of data left behind while on the Internet and is based on all of their different online activities and the virtual interactions they engage in over time.

How can we protect our digital footprint?
Important note...A digital footprint can be long-lasting, but not every part is permanent. You can delete some posts or accounts, but screenshots, shared copies, backups or records held by websites may remain.
In this way, digital footprints can be difficult to erase completely. Even after information is deleted, copies may remain online.
Therefore, think carefully before sharing!
